I'm a self-certified beer geek based in Hampshire. I'm not really that elusive - the tag is more of a tongue in cheek reference to my online identity, tabamatu, which is Estonian for elusive. You can find me under this identity on Twitter, Facebook, XBox Live, PSN etc etc. So actually I'm not even slightly elusive. Oh the irony.

This blog is about beer and all things related to it, which has become something of a passion of mine in the past few years. I'm not sure where it started but I do know it wasn't over a pint of Foster's.  All comments are welcome and I'll only remove them if you're one of those nasty spambots.

 I've been lucky enough to pick up a few awards for home brewing. Here's a quick run down, mostly to make me feel better when I drain pour something!
